- Development of a strategy for the transition to a circular economy (ideally for the region) with a special focus on waste prevention, recycling and end-use facilities for waste recovery and water management.
- Awareness and communication with citizens and their involvement using modern technological tools (applications used to monitor the cleanliness of the city, black dumps, recommendations of companies using recycled products or reusable products, including public procurement, etc.)
- Use of new IoW/IoT technologies to monitor energy flows (digitization of waste in landfills), involvement of municipalities, cities and regions in innovative/research and pilot projects in the field of circular economy.

- Support the creation of local recycling centers.

- Use of IoT tools in the field of water management (eg smart metering).
- Effective management of wastewater and rainwater in the region; building and supporting recycling facilities.
