Information for users of the portal www.paradnikraj.cz (hereinafter referred to as “Portal”) on the protection and processing of personal data.

1) Personal data on the Portal is processed by the Pardubice Region, ID: 70892822, with its registered office at Komenského náměstí 125, Pardubice, (hereinafter also referred to as the “Administrator”), through which it provides information and services defined by the content of the Portal.

3) The processing of personal data is carried out on the basis of the legal obligation of the administrator set out in Section 1(4) of Act No. 129/2000 Coll., on Regions, as amended. Specifically, it concerns the fulfilment of the obligation to care for the all-round development of its territory and the needs of its citizens. A further legal obligation in this respect is regulated by Act No 248/2000 Coll., on support for regional development, as amended. Specifically, this is the provision of Section 14(3)(b) and (c), according to which the Operator approves and implements the development strategy of the territorial district of the Region, monitors and evaluates its implementation (point (b) ) and supports the development of regions defined in the development strategy of the territorial district of the Region (point (c) ). The Region implements the obligations defined in this way through the Portal, which helps to better orient regional development planning and determine the financial resources for its implementation.

4) The processing of personal data does not involve automated decision-making, on the basis of which acts or decisions are made that would interfere with the rights or legitimate interests of citizens.

5) The Administrator processes personal data through the Processor, which is the Regional Development Agency of the Pardubice Region, with its registered office at náměstí Republiky 12, 530 21 Pardubice, ID: 69153361 (hereinafter referred to as the “Processor”). The Processor is entitled to process the personal data provided by the user solely for the purpose of the operation of the portal.

6) Personal data is processed only for the necessary period of time, namely until the data subject expresses his/her will to no longer be present on the Portal. After this expression, the personal data is destroyed, unless there is a legal reason to keep it. This right can, of course, also be exercised in respect of data relating to a legal entity. These will also be deleted if you do not consent.

7) When processing your personal data, you have the right to:
– request information about the processing of your personal data,
– request access to your personal data,
– request the rectification of inaccurate personal data (if you believe that your personal data processed by the County is inaccurate),
– request the erasure of your personal data, or request a restriction on its processing,
– object to the processing of your personal data,
– request the portability of the personal data you have provided to the county,
– lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8) Your requests will always be duly considered and dealt with in accordance with the relevant provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC).

9) You may at any time express your opposition to being listed on the said Portal. You may express your opposition in any form that allows it to be processed, but preferably to the Data Protection Officer, whose contact details are set out in point 2 of this document. After communicating your disagreement, your personal data will be deleted as stated in point 6 of this document.

10) Exercise your rights through the Data Protection Officer, whose contact details are set out in point 2 of this document.

11) Necessary technical and organisational measures have been taken in the processing of personal data that are appropriate to the nature of the personal data processed.

12) The following personal data are managed for users within the Portal:
– in the section “For business”: e-mail address,
– in the ‘I’m researching’ section: email address
– in the ‘I study’ section: first name, last name, telephone number, e-mail address (for the item ‘Request/offer’ IT equipment)
– in the ‘For municipalities’ section: e-mail address

13) The personal data provided are processed (i.e. collected, stored and further used) mainly for the purpose of operating the portal www.paradnikraj.cz, which is the sharing of information between various entities in the field of business, research, education and activities of local governments in the Pardubice Region.
