Citizens and municipalities as partners of energy suppliers

Objective: To increase the degree of self-sufficiency of the territory in energy supply
  • Preparation of projects of decentralized/local production of energy from OZE with maximum use of local conditions (brownfields, roofs and other areas of buildings, etc.), including accumulation and energy saving projects and their active support. Active involvement in pilot activities and support for the creation of so-called living labs.
  • Elaboration of an energy concept at the level of a region or city/municipality.
  • Efficient use of local or available energy sources – use of waste heat from all potential sources, modernization and development of existing heat supply systems with regard to their efficiency.

SMART solutions suppliers

Objective: The energy economy in the region to be optimized with regard to the efficient use of resources and achieving savings
  • Strengthening the sustainability of established energy management or introduction of energy management, creation of the position of an energy manager in the city/municipality/region and strengthening of this position within the hierarchy of the office.
  • Analysis of the possibility of using decentralized resources to support the power supply in the area and ensure energy security.
  • Implementation of in-house software tools (applications, data platforms) and methodological procedures for efficient energy management.

SMART solutions suppliers

Objective: The energy infrastructure in the area to enable secure and reliable energy supply, reduce the degree of dependence on external sources and find the optimal ratio of supplies from central and decentralized sources.
  • Long-term systematic collection of data on energy production and consumption in the area, their evaluation and further use for long-term energy planning of the city/municipality/region with the specific goal of reducing consumption and prioritizing projects that will be supported/implemented.
  • Support for the construction of smart grids and battery systems in the network.
  • Preparation of energy networks in the transition to electromobility.
  • Prevention of risks associated with local, regional and area outages in energy supply, ensuring the function of the critical infrastructure element (KI element) and other objects of strategic importance and continuous testing of supply reliability.
